Ki is not only a major component of Dragonbll, Z, and GT but is cool as crap too. Ki is sort of the energy that living things have around them and in them (no, not like the force). One can control and manipulate his or her ki with sufficient pratice and strength. Ki can be used in a variety of ways as well, to fly, move objects without physical contact, or blast something and blow it up. Ki attacks can be shaped into balls, beams, discs, almost anything your heart desires. The greater the amount of ki one has the more force a blast has. Using ki during battle requires a lot of energy and is quite demanding on the user so it must be done with some conservation. If affective though ki blasts can be very damaging to one's opponent. In fact the best way to get rid of one's opponent is to vaporize him/her with a sizable ki blast. Here are a couple common types of ki attacks: Destro Disc-a thin flat disc of ki which cuts through almost anything before detonating. Genki Dama-"spirit bomb" this done through gathering little bits of energy from all the living things on one's planet. Goku uses this attack a lot to end long battles. With good reason, it is large and lethal, but unfortunately takes sometime to gather. Kame-Hame-Ha-Goku's main attack. It was created by Master Roshi and Goku picked it up while training under him.
