SAIYA-JIN
The saiya-jin(pronounced say-IN) people are very important to the story lines of Dragonball, Z, and GT. The saiya-jin are a warrior people from Planet Vegeta. Planet Vegeta originally had two types of people, a peaceful high-tech type, and the primitive war like saiya-jins; every time a saiya-jin does battle his power increases. One night under a full moon the saiya-jins attacked the better half of their world and killed them all. They were not content with just their planet however, and decided they wanted to conquer other worlds, but unfortunately they lacked the technology to travel to other planets. The saiya-jins made a deal with Freeza for technology, all they do is give Freeza the world they conquer for him to sell. They saiya-jins are not in it for the money, but more the opportunity to conquer and kill. Years go by and Freeza notices that the saiya-jins are getting more power as whole and may pose a threat to him later. So rather than butt heads with the saiya-jins later Freeza destroys Planet Vegeta (see the Bardock Special for details. The only know survivors are, Goku, Vegeta, Nappa, Radditz, Turles, Brolli, and Paragas. Most of them are real aggressive jerks except Goku; he fell on his head as a child and forgot his mission of conquering the Earth. The saiya-jins have various stages of power. You might see me use the abreviation "ssj" from time to time, it just means "super saiya-jin," the attatched number indicates the level. Below you will see the known forms of the saiya-jin.
Oozaru: This is a saiya-jin great ape. A saiya-jin must still have his or her tail and look at a full moon for this to happen. Goku caused a lot of property damage is this form in the Dragonball series. A saiya-jin's power increases ten times in this form.
Super Saiya-Jin: A saiya-jin can go super saiya-jin if they posses some amount of saiya-jin blood, have a heart of pure good or evil, and have a large amount of rage. The saiya-jin's hair goes blond and their power skyrockets. The key to a saiya-jin's power lies in his rage. Super saiya-jin is seen throughout Dragonball Z and is a real fan favorite.
Ultra Super Saiya-Jin: This is not an entirely new level of the super saiya-jin but a pumped up, intermediate stage between super saiya-jin and super saiya-jin 2. Brolli is only saiya-jin to really utilize this type of stage. Trunks tries to use it against Cell but soon realizes it's flaw. The extreme power of this stage strains the muscles and makes them bulge thus slowing downing the saiya-jin.
Super Saiya-Jin 2: This a picture of Gohan in super saiya-jin 2 form. This is sort of hard to distinguish from the super saiya-jin stage but take a quick look at the pic. The saiya-jin's hair becomes very blond, almost silver, and is spiked up in thin points. Power increases again with this stage.
Super Saiya-Jin 3: This is a really cool stage I think. This is gained with extreme rage and vastly increases a saiya-jin's power. The hair grows very long and the eyebrows dissapear. Goku uses this level of super saiya-jin a few times in Dragonball Z, GT, and a in a couple of movies as well.
Golden Oozaru: This is the super powered up version of the original Oozaru form. It is truely awesome and pretty much impossible to kill. We see this form a few times in GT season.
Super Saiya-Jin 4: This is the top! When a saiya-jin learns to control the rage of the golden Oozaru he/she goes to super saiya-jin 4. The saiya-jin's hair grows slightly longer, their tale grows back and their body is covered with short dark fur. The saiya-jin becomes unbelievable powerful.
